I have worn glasses/contacts since I was 8 years old. I was a bit tired of having to remember my glasses/contacts every time I went somewhere and the discomfort I continuously experienced because of them. I was curious about Lasek surgery and after talking to a few of my fellow teachers, I decided to go in for a consultation because I had heard nothing but great things about this particular center. I inquired about coming in for a consultation and received a phone call the following morning. I couldn't believe how fast the response time was and that I was now set up for a consultation visit!
I was so impressed, I set up my surgery to be done one week after my consultation. Upon going in for surgery I had many doubts and was really anxious/scared. However, the staff was very comforting and reassured me that there was nothing to worry about; and there wasn't. Surgery went smoothly- no pain at all. Staff members were absolutely wonderful and today I am loving my vision!! It is so wonderful to wake up and to be able to see everything so clearly. I would definitely suggest "going for it" if you're curious but unsure. I can't believe I did not do this earlier in my life- it is the best investment I have ever made!!
