My experience at Dream Eye has been great. I had been thinking about getting LASEK for a few years and am completely happy with choosing Dream Eye. The staff was excellent and explained everything and answered all the questions that I had. They were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. They recommended that I get the mLASEK surgery.
The initial consultation takes about 2-3 hours because they are extremely thorough. They make sure that you are a good candidate for the surgery and explain what they are doing at every step. I scheduled the surgery for 3 days after the consultation. I was nervous about the surgery, but it was completely unnecessary. The most uncomfortable part of the surgery, which took only a few minutes per eye, was when they rinsed my eye after the surgery. After the surgery, my eyes were watery for a few hours, but then they were fine. The 3rd day after the surgery was the most uncomfortable. My vision was blurry and very sensitive to light, but that was the worst of it. From there, it has been improving everyday.
I am extremely happy with my decision for getting the surgery and with choosing Dream Eye. I would do it again if I had to do it over again. I'm happy that I don't have to deal with contacts and contact solution ever again.
